Tristan, the developer behind Denim

01 — About

Hi, I'm Tristan.

I'm a Melbourne-based full-stack developer who works behind the scenes for agencies — building, supporting, and maintaining websites and tools on their behalf, under their banner.

Outside of agency work I build useful tools — Parkingmap.Melbourne and Colourfully are two I've shipped publicly.

When you work with me, you talk directly to the person writing the code — no account managers, no handoffs. I keep my client list small so your work never gets deprioritised for a bigger account.

03 — Services

How I help agencies.

Add development capacity without adding headcount. Your client. Your creative. My code.

01

Project delivery

You have the client and the creative direction. I handle the development, start to finish.

  • Websites & web apps from approved designs
  • Integrations, automation & custom functionality
  • Hosting, domains & go-live support
  • Clean, documented handover
02

Overflow capacity

Your team is at capacity. I take a project or component so nothing slips.

Two weeks, two months or one specific project. No permanent salary.

03

Maintenance retainers

Ongoing technical coverage for your clients' websites.

  • CMS, plugin & theme updates
  • Security patches & uptime monitoring
  • Performance work & caching
  • Small fixes & monthly reporting
04

Specialist support

A technical problem your creative team doesn't normally solve. That includes prototypes built with Lovable, Bolt or v0 that need to be secure, fast and searchable before they go live.

Describe the problem

You stay in control

Your client.
Your creative.
My code.

Your client relationship

You remain the account owner. I don't insert myself between you and your client.

Your creative direction

Development follows your approved designs and strategy.

Your brand

Work happens behind the scenes, with no visible trace of Denim.

Your delivery process

I fit into your existing workflow rather than asking you to change around me.

04 — Process

You bring the brief. I handle the build.

A clear process from brief to launch, with no surprises.

  1. Step 01

    Send the brief

A Figma file, a project scope, an existing site, a technical problem — even a rough description is enough to start.

    Brief received

  2. Step 02

    Scope

I identify the technical requirements, assumptions, timeline and estimated cost, and confirm it with you before anything begins.

    Fixed quote or retainer

  3. Step 03

    Build

I work directly with your team or independently behind the scenes — whichever fits the engagement.

    Regular progress updates

  4. Step 04

    Deliver

You retain ownership of the client relationship and the delivery. I hand off clean, documented work.

    Clean, documented handover
